I believe that the greatest moments of our lives stem from our passions and adventures. We value our health since it lets us to take part in these moments. The purpose of my practice is to help everyone maintain their ability to do the activities that they love. I do this by providing rehabilitation for injuries, manual therapy for pain relief, and by providing individualized guidance towards better health.

My general-population practice is located in Calgary, Alberta, and everyone is welcome. I also practice in Dawson City, Yukon, on an intermittent basis.

“Chiropractors are primary health care professionals with expert knowledge in musculoskeletal health emphasizing differential diagnosis, patient centered care, interprofessional collaboration, and utilizing and generating research.”

This means that if you have any musculoskeletal pains, then a Chiropractor can help you get better, or will refer you to a specialist who can.

Headaches

Does your head throb after a long work day? On just one side or on both? Different headaches are treated and prevented in different ways. I can probably help, and if not, I’ll send you to someone who can.

Tailbone (coccyx) pain

Also known as Coccydynia, tailbone pain can dramatically effect a person’s quality of life. Most cases of tailbone pain heal themselves in a short period of time, but persistent cases need help from a knowledgeable and experienced doctor.

*Note- Dr. Carpino is one of few Chiropractors in Calgary who is trained to perform internal coccyx manipulations.

Active rehabilitation and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)

Have you had a sports injury, and you’re looking to move from rehab to performance? Or, do you have chronic pain and have been told that you need to move your body to feel better? The most rewarding part of my clinical practice is showing my patients how to reclaim their movement and get back to doing the things that they love.

Group exercise programs

Some things are better together! Like evidence-based education and specific exercises for knee and hip osteoarthritis, and chronic low back pain. I am a proud provider of GLA:D programming for these conditions. Learn more about it here.
